Vancouver may have mild temperatures year round but it is known to often be rainy. No need to worry if you encounter a rainy day, the Vancouver Art Gallery will provide and indoor destination with hours of entertainment. Before we get into the art, it must be noted that the Vancouver Art Gallery has the 1931 Gallery Bistro’s rooftop patio, a must visit spot to grab a drink or bite to eat. The gallery itself is the largest art gallery in Western Canada per its building size. It is a well respected art institution housing over 11,000 works of art at a time! A full day or just an afternoon could be spent viewing the collections of both national and international contemporary art that is available to the public seven days a week. Skylark Counselling is nearby.
