My passion in counselling is working with adolescents, emerging adults, and adults. I work with a variety of concerns, including feelings of uncertainty, aimlessness, and symptoms of anxiety and depression. My goal is to create a space where we can investigate the concerns that have guided you to therapy and ways we can build your strengths to help navigate through personal obstacles. I take a collaborative approach; I don’t have all the answers, but we will work together to find solutions, relief, meaning, and direction.

What do people say your biggest strength is?
People close to me would say it’s my ability to stay in the moment. I search for light in every occasion but am willing to be present in each ‘twist and turn’ of life.
Something you’re proud of (challenge you’ve overcome, etc.)?
When I was 17, I moved to Vancouver alone without any friends or family. I’m proud that I have taken the time, energy, and motivation to build myself a foundation and create connections with people here and abroad that I deeply care about.
What led you to counseling?
When I was a teenager, I reached out for mental health support and I didn’t receive the help I needed. I realized how impactful counselling could be because I just needed someone to feel like they were on my side. From there on, I pursued a career where I can be a person where others feel safe, heard, and supported.
What/who inspires you?
My family, especially the strong women in my life. They inspire me to live life with meaning and find any opportunity to laugh and enjoy the moment.
Favorite things to do?
My favorite things are reading, hanging out with friends and family, and having little dance parties whenever possible!
What would you tell a client who is meeting you for the first time?
Counselling is not a race, so there is no rush. We can spend time strengthening safety and comfort. My first priority is to build a trusting relationship between us.
One thing you’ve learned from working with people?
That people are incredibly resilient. We all have strengths within and around us that can help us move forward with meaning in life.
