I am passionate about supporting individuals in their journey with various mental health challenges specializing in substance use, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, trauma and many others. My past counselling experiences include community based mental health work, supporting individuals while embracing the importance of identity, culture and its influence on self and finding a place in society. I also have extensive experience working with clients navigating immigration, life transitions, and substance use challenges. Growing up in a big and energetic family, I have a passion for sports, travelling, cooking, and am always up for an adventure. I strive to bring a level of warmth and comfort to the counselling space, where I offer an environment of support and empathy, free of judgement or ridicule. My counselling style is adaptable and collaborative to the needs of my client, where I pull from my extensive clinical toolbelt to use the most effective therapies in session.

Working through Covid-19. I joined the healthcare system in January 2020, two months before the worldwide lockdown. This time came with many uncertainties and fear which fostered anxiety as a professional. However, this time offered a light which led to learning new skills and adaptability of rapidly changing times.
I began working in non-profits shortly out of college and resonated with helping people and being a pillar of support for those in the community. Counselling empowers individual growth and I consider it an honour to help people find their inner voice and grow.
The Kite Runner. The book takes you on a journey in which the characters go through a slow but powerful growth that offers an emotional connection with their experiences.
Everyone I have worked with so far. My clients never cease to amaze me with their strengths, resilience, stories, and desire to heal and grow from such experiences. My clients show and teach me new things all the time but trust me to be a part of their new journey. Clients have helped me grow not just professionally but personally, which drives me to serve them better.

Take your time in this process. Coming here takes courage! As a counsellor, I have great admiration for that. Share your story in a way that feels comfortable and safe for you and never be shy to communicate how you would feel best supported by your counsellor.
People are unique! I have found that everyone I have worked with has helped me build a connection that sheds a light on people’s experience, one in which they find an authentic voice of healing.
